  1.         STRATEGIES FOR MEDIUM SIZE LOTTERY POOLS

  3.     A medium size lottery pool is any pool from about
  4.   20 tickets purchased up to 100 tickets.
  5.  
  6.     Some options are:
  7.  
  8.     1)  Pick the top 6 numbers by frequency         plus
  9.     
  10.     2)  Pick the top 3 numbers by frequency plus
  11.          the 3 most overdue numbers                 plus
  12.          
  13.     3)  Wheel a small group of numbers (8-12) 
  14.         for a 4/4 win, or possible 5 or grand
  15.         grand prize                                  or
  16.         
  17.     4)  Run a "Power" wheel on 3 or 4 key numbers    or
  18.     
  19.     5)  Wheel a small group of numbers (7-8) for  
  20.         a "full" wheel                               or
  21.         
  22.     6)  Run a set of 200-400 random numbers and
  23.         filter these to produce a yield of (25%)
  24.         thus  50-100 output numbers                  or
  25.  
  26.     7)  If ballset information is available pick
  27.         a couple of ballsets, and use an abbreviated
  28.         wheel to pick 30 or 40 sets from each 
  29.         ballset.
